Nose: peat, medicinal, seaweed, bubblegum, leather, most complex nose, most Ardbeg like nose Taste: oily, better palate, spice, long finish, markedly better than the Uigeadail. Finish: Long and spicy The fruit that the marketing notes talk about is not apparent. The smoke is upfront and delightful. Smokiverse won this blind lineup. I think a lot of people want to discount this as another Ardbeg gimmick but they will be missing out.
