Man I love Laphroaig! This one has so much on the nose. Its just straight fruit and laphroaig smokiness. Youd think the palate would be sweet judging from the nose. But nope yiu get thr Laphroaig goodness though woth a wonderful dry fruitiness and a very twnnic drying finish that goes for a bit almost like a dry red wine. The finish is so different from the nose but I love it. Also get a bit of black licorice, leather, tobacco in the finish which seems to be what I get from much of the Laphoaig offerings I’ve had. This is too notch stuff but a little pricey for a full bottle.
