Nose- heavy caramel and brown sugar. Palate- sweet oak and caramel to start. Then giving way to more clove and cinnamon. Finish- slightly oil/heavy feel that hangs out with lingering baking spice note. Then back to the caramel and brown sugar. Overall- For a high proof bourbon, this is very smooth. Not much of a burn and a very flavor forward whiskey. The brown sugar and oak sweetness is very prevalent. A great versitile whiskey straight or in a cocktail.
