After my first sip, I had to contemplate everything going on with this whiskey.There seems to be a balancing act between rye whiskey and a single malt scotch. Has some complexity for what I find to be a thin dram on palette. Cinnamon with undertones of kitchen spices. Fresh cut grass, mint, oak, tannic with a dry lingering toasty finish. In my first tasting of this whiskey, I went from OK to very good. Sometimes, you have to hang on in there !
