Nose: crisp pears, a touch of saltiness, vanilla maltiness. Light and inviting. Palate: pepper, light lemon, golden grain Finish: Oakiness, salt & pepper, more pear. Overall, this is very nice if not a wow. An excellent Scotch to keep handy this would be a great intro Scotch or an inoffensive bottle to keep around.
