The aroma is just like the pile of apple and pear peels you left for a few minutes after peeling them. Well, there is a slight creaminess, a slight honeyiness, but it is definitely not your typical sherry.
On the palate, the fruit peel is now citrus peel - oranges, tangerines, bitter for sure. There are also quite a few spicy, bitter spices, but the taste is entirely citrus, uncompromisingly dominated by citrus.
The finish is lemony, fresh and medium.
A very good and fresh whisky, but it definitely lacks complexity and something that says “boom”. I know it is an expensive pleasure for cocktails, but it seemed to me that its citrus flavours could do a great job for some summer cocktails. 82/100
