Strong nose of alcohol and old casks, a hint of wine but nothing much. The first sip is kind of underwhelming : this whisky is quite light and doesn't have much flavour. But after a few, the taste of good red wine is more and more apparent and lingers a bit, making this Arran fruity, nutty and definitely sunny. It is not a strong taste but it has many layers and for one, I really enjoy it!
