Just a slight burn, but afterward I got hints of a tobacco flavor. Not my favorite spice for whiskey, personally, but that it was cool that I could get that note. It smells sweeter & fruitier than it tastes. Also, my bottle says "Limited Edition" on it, but I don't know why.
