Light but pleasant favor, quite mild, really just undertones and hints of different flavor notes. Really more than getting into the fine details this is a very smooth, mixable and sippable rum with inoffensive flavors. Label says aged 2 years which I fully believe, there's hints of barrel oak and other associated notes but exactly that, hints. Honestly purely judging the liquid in the bottle I'd give it the 2.5 of dead average, but at least where I live, this is four dollars cheaper than Bacardi and easily as widely available at least at liquor stores. The value proposition to me bumps it to a 3, being an average rum at sub-Bacardi prices is notable.
