Nose: The nose is a little faint becoause of the low proof, but oak is present with apple and stone fruits. Nice start.
Palate: very light and juicy if thats a way to decribe it. The fruit from the nose continues on the palate. Its an interesting Japanese whiskey because you barely get any malted barley flavors.
Finish: the finish is short and you get some grain notes and plum. Overall this is a unique pour that is very different from other Japanese whiskeys I’ve had. If it had a higher proof I think it would make it a better whiskey.
