Nose: Lots of citrus paired with spices. Some anise comes through along with pine. There's an ocean saltiness, as well, contrasted with some darker sugars.
Pallette: More citrus, especially lemon and orange peel. Baking spice is there. The dark sugars on the nose turn to a confectionary sweetness. There is fig present with a little bitterness
Finish: Clove comes through very strong on the finish. A little black pepper and brininess. The bitter notes carry to the finish, but turn to more floral notes on the back half.
Overall: Really quite excellent. Worth the money and I will buy at least two backups.
