The nose starts off floral with added touches of brown sugar and molasses sweetness. Vanilla and oak bind it all together to offer you a very well balanced Canadian rye. The palate is gently spicy, filling the mouth all the way to the corners with a lovely coating of oak that balances out the spice. It is incredibly easy to drink, an amazing rye spice that isn't over powering but it just right. The rye comes across as mostly neutral, a nice blend between earthy and floral. It simply is just spicy, but in a good way when you just want a rye in all it's glory. The finish is medium long with a lingering warmth and spiciness that keeps you anticipating the next sip. It is extremely wonderful and one of the best values for aged ryes.
