The nose starts with creamy, earthy rye spice; vanilla cake, brown sugar and faint touches of dried flowers and fruit. It smells like a bakery and is absolutely intoxicating and easy to get lost in.
The palate is somewhat oily and chewy, filling the mouth with baking spices and earthy rye, but nothing too intense. It stays spice dominant and proves to be a pretty solid sipping rye despite only being 4 years old.
The finish is medium and spicy, with lingering earthy rye spice that gently fades away.
