Aroma - Really nice blend of oak and caramel with rye notes some vanilla as well. Taste - Follows the nose. There’s a nuttiness that pops up from time to time along with a dark berry note. Overall - It’s really really good. It’s the usual suspects (vanilla, caramel, oak) very slight hint of rye. Mouthfeel is definitely above average for 100 proof. Sticks to the palate and almost syrupy. The finish is the best part. At 100 proof… the finish is long, with sweet notes of caramel and vanilla. It’s a sweet whiskey and it is just really freaking good.
