I am impressed by it with its slight peaty note that, for the first time in my case, doesn't feel bad; it simply reminds me that it is still a Scottish whisky.
It has an oily, silky mouthfeel, with discrete caramel notes and velvety texture. All these qualities make it easy-going (maybe too easy to stop drinking). While other whiskies burn the throat, this one is smooth and gently caresses it.
