Whiskey Tour of the World 2025 #4
Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes.
Color: Pale yellow.
Nose: Vanilla with apple and pear notes.
Palate: Vanilla with a spicy pepper note.
Finish: Long length with medium heat.
Splash: No new flavors appear.
Overall: 8/10 - This is my first Irish whiskey in a while, but it did not disappoint. Between the sweet fruit in the nose and the pepper in the palate, there were a few welcome surprises. The long finish for 92 proof was another nice surprise. It’s not the most complex, but definitely a nice chamge of pace.
