Rare Breed is one of my go to bourbons and an easy favorite. Big vanilla and caramel up front, followed by warm baking spices, oak, and just enough barrel proof heat to keep it interesting without being harsh. The finish is long, smooth, and well balanced. What really sets it apart is value. For the proof, depth, and consistency, it drinks well above its price point. Great neat, solid with a splash of water, and always reliable.
