Consistent with previous note (3/27/24). A lot to like here. Classic bourbon nose of caramel, vanilla, baked cinnamon apples, a little cocoa, and spearmint. Some oiliness on the palate, with dark sweet cherries. Nice Kentucky hug, as expected from the high proof (124.2). Finishes long with more caramel and vanilla, in addition to raspberry truffle. Would I buy it again? I'm always on the lookout for each triennial release. 4.5 on the Distiller scale.
