Visual: Copper colour; thin, slow, beaded legs. Nosing: Pink bubble gum right off the bat, followed by heavy oak and vanilla. Baking spices, namely nutmeg. Light candied ginger at the back of the nose. Tasting: great body, long oaky finish. Sweet with tons of toasted oak. It reminds me of cinnamon dusted cooked bananas I put into my oatmeal. Reduced Nosing: with added water, very floral with lots of honey notes. Bubblegum is also enhanced. Reduced Tasting: with added water, much, much more vanilla. Burn lessens, much more room for sweetness: honey, cinnamon, oak, and icing sugar. At first. I didn't really care for this dram, but after sitting with it, I've come to enjoy it. It's underrated dram for sure; really warm, sweet and comforting.
