This has quickly become one of my favorite ryes. It hits most of my preferences. Nose: warm buttery brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla Palate: Classic rye spices with a definitive sherry influence. I noticed a hint of orange citrus. Buttery mouthfeel. Finish: Palate carries throughout to a moderately long warm finish. I noticed there is a wide range of experiences expressed in the reviews over the years. Perhaps it has matured since it was first released as this is my second bottle in the past 18 months and both have been consistent with my notes. I will definitely replace it once this one is finished.
