Virtually no legs in the glass. Nose is light, but I do get hints of sweetness, allspice, mint, and rye bread. Palate brings white pepper and mild fruit along with the nose profile. Finish is light, slightly doughy. This is a mlld bourbon, even for the 98+ proof point. Unspectacular into itself, but considering 60% of this whiskey is 2yrs old, it doesn't present as young. I'm not a Barton's fan, but the 11 yr might be balancing out the two yr old whiskey? A middling whiskey, but considering what's in the bottle, a promising start.
