Visual: Golden Copper; thin, slow, evenly-spaced legs. Nosing: sort of a "cheesy" funk right off the bat; fruity. Oaky, soft, sweet smoke. Slight Band-Aid notes. Tasting: sweet, slightly briny and coastal. A balanced smoke at the forefront. A tad bit of leather too. Some baking spices, namely nutmeg. Reduced Nosing: With added water, nothing much new...maybe my nose is off tonight. I'm only really picking up some new, more floral notes. Reduced Tasting: with added water, burn lessened. More sweetness comes to the forefront. Much more smooth. Just a good, sweet. Smoky dram. Price point is a bit for this bottle I think...but I may just need more time with it.
