dark (purple fruit) spicy intense yet refined cinnamon molasses one of the best 117 series releases. if you enjoy "1915", this reminds me of that *but* less banana notes from 1920, more spicy cinnamon type notes from 1910, and then a plethora of intense spicy notes from the 130 bottling proof. if you like stagg jr, this feels almost like a brown-forman analogue. if you enjoy ofbib or of1987, you might think of this as a spicier yet more refined version. i will definitely try to buy another. not for the faint of heart.
