This just hangs on the glass. So viscous. Almost no legs. Malted barley is notable on the nose, and there's burnt sugar and vanilla frosting all over the place. Sweet upfront and soft on the palate with a small spicy kick on the way out. The wood shines on the finish. Some spicy warmth that's not from the alcohol carries well into the finish. Not as long a finish as a true rock star, and not as complex as something legendary, but this is a real treat.
