A tingly nose with notes of leather, old cask and a tad floral but all a bit light. The sip is okay, a bit acidic and salty at first but develops notes of apple, vanilla without being too syrupy, even a tad on the soft side again. All in all it's a nice whisky for its price range but doesn't punch above its category.
