The Nose offers waves of plump fruit and jam, with red wine notes shining through as well. The Palate immediately hits with sweet bourbon notes of toffee and molasses. This transitions at the tail end into the flavors prevalent in the Finish. The Finish is lengthy and further brings forward leather, mint, and tanins that were highlighted at the tail end of the Palate. The best part of this glass, is the Palate and how it overall transitions from Nose to initial Palate (Sweet to Sweet front) and tail Palate with the Finish (Bitter end to Bitter). The overall Nose and Finish however doea not offer much complexity from average Bourbons.
