Fresh crack. Strong ethanol presence on the nose and palate, even after waiting 15min in the glass. About half way through the pour it starts to lose the ethanol bite. The classic BT sweetness and a nice spicy finish comes to the forefront. This coats the mouth well and the finish is decently long. This definitely has a few steps up over a regular Blanton’s as far as complexity and flavor depth go. Different animal
Conclusion
With some airtime, this is going to be great. The price point is rough at $190, but worth it to me for this bottle. It’ll be a special occasion, night cap kinda pour for me.
