Had this next to ER 17 ‘22. This was clearly better across the board. The raw enjoyability of this pour is this the best part(weird but true). No bitterness, no heat; just all flavor. BT profile dialed all the way up! Glad to try this, but sad that it’s over

Fresh crack. Strong ethanol presence on the nose and palate, even after waiting 15min in the glass. About half way through the pour it starts to lose the ethanol bite. The classic BT sweetness and a nice spicy finish comes to the forefront. This coats the mouth well and the finish is decently long. This definitely has a few steps up over a regular Blanton’s as far as complexity and flavor depth go. Different animal Conclusion With some airtime, this is going to be great. The price point is rough at $190, but worth it to me for this bottle. It’ll be a special occasion, night cap kinda pour for me. Proof 126.8 / Date 11-6-25 / Rickhouse 46

Same foundation as RR15; top notch Turkey profile. Basically a great Russell’s bottle. Not much heat but great in the flavors and mouthfeel. Sweet and spicy

Fresh crack at a bottle share. Had this next to batches 2 & 3. It finished 3rd but we felt that this will open up. It was the sweetest and hottest of the bunch (no surprise on the heat). It’s a solid batch, but price creep is real. Final verdict: Glad I have it, but wouldn’t seek out a backup.

Fantastic batch. Classic BT profile on steroids! This is so balanced and complex. It has an extra gear over other batches. Longer finish Very impressive; loved it ~4.6

Nose is sweet and candy like (classic BT profile). Palate is sweet red fruits with nice oak to round it out. Mouthfeel & finish are better than expected. Pretty oily/ medium length for finish I had a regular ER to compare to and this won pretty decisively. Don’t pay secondary for this bottle; it’s solid but it doesn’t move mountains.
