This is a phenomenal pour. Definitely in my top 10 all time, I would stand this up against Rip Van Winkle 10 year. (I havent had the 15) They are very similar.
Nose: when you 1st pour it, you get cherries and a really nice oak. If you let it open up for 10-15 mins, you get like a vanilla poundcake and buttercream that comes on top of the cherry and oak
Palate: for me, its very basic, but awesome. Oak and dry fruit. Very pleasant!
Finish: probably one of the best finishes I’ve experienced. It is a LONG warm oak hug that isn’t too spicy. It HANGS OUT, and its amazing.
TLDR; absolutely worth MSRP of $149, I would not pay more. VERY sinialr to Pappy 10. 😎
