Hot on the palate. I was hoping this was going to be a cheaper version of their Distiller’s Release/Reserve but sadly “no”. It was just a hot version of the standard Woodford Reserve, which is fine. What I was hoping for was a more intense flavor profile of the usual 90.4 proof of Woodford Reserve. The extra ethanol overwhelmed the subtle, restrained profile of 90.4 Woodford Reserve.
