Nose: Shortbread cookies, almond biscotti, barrel spices, vanilla, cocoa, cherries, red grapes and oak. Really nice. Palate starts bitter and ends bitter, but in between is pretty nice. Spicy, a bit silky, with floral, fresh and dried fruit, baking spices, vanilla and cocoa notes. Finish: Lengthy and spicy. Distiller Review No. 993
