Nose: tarry rope, black pepper, vanilla cream, underlying vanilla bean, sea spray coming from a wave crashing into a jetty. A touch of smokey charred oak and a hint of seaweed.
Palate: coastal, oceanic. Sweet, caramel and vanilla. Black pepper is notable here too. A nice little bit of campfire embers, charred oak. A hint of cayenne/chili spice. Slight nuttiness.
Finish: charred oak both tannic and sweet, peppery. Warming.
