A fun whisky to taste and compare. The nose was a bit too floral and perfumy for me. But the palate had a nice density, and weight that surprised for a younger (NAS) Japanese whisky. The flavor profile is unique, the vanilla and floral notes play well with the soft smoke in the background. Nice very enjoyable, but didnt have any one note that made me need to come back to it. But still very fun to try, look forward to conparing this to the yoichi!
