Really light, pretty scotch, needs water to open up which reveals a core of ginger, apples, marmalade, and slight vanilla and floral tones. Palate has a nice minerality and almost acidic, yet rich texture, with notes of ripe pear, clove, citrus, ginger, lanolin, and some light floral notes, leading to a long finish with poached pear and spices. Amazing scotch, perfect substitute for when i cant find Arran 10.
