Nose has a dark, rich sweetness with notes of oak, caramel, brown sugar. Sweet caramel and oak notes are prevalent on the initial sip. Mid-palate gives way to notes of cinnamon, leather and espresso. Finish has a drying bitterness with some heat that lasts for a medium length.
