Rittenhouse Rye 10 Year Bottled in Bond (United States 250th Anniversary Commemorative Edition)

Smoked fruits, licorice, and gritty vanilla nose. Full feel up front but thinner finish. Over steeped tea leaves, stone fruit skins, and caramel chews. Medium light finish with a growing warmth. In comparison with the standard, the depth of the 6 extra years is obvious. The brightness and fresh tea notes are muddled down. Both are delicious, so it depends on if you want depth or brightness. And if you're willing to quadruple the price for the 10yr.
