The nose starts with a burst of oak and vanilla, subtle hints of baking spices and cream; there is a bready element to it that comes off as a cinnamon roll. It is very straightforward delightful that really draws you in for a sip. The palette is somewhat dry with an initial burst of black pepper and cherry syrup. It gives way to vanilla, caramel and charred oak. Same as the nose, it is intensely straightforward and flavorful. The finish is long with a pleasant level of spice and oak, as the rest of the flavor wraps together in a wonderful experience that gently fades.
