This is a real treat. Lots of stone fruit, dangerously drinkable. Not a long finish, but very very good. Definitely best Irish I have had. This whisky is in my top 10 for sure. An 84 rating is embarrassing. They ranked jack Daniels #7 higher....

Stephanie Moreno can be a tough grader at times. She ranked Gran Duque D'Alba Gran Solera Brandy a 78 yet his got a 93 on the Beverage Tasting Institute and a 98 in the Wine Enthusiast Magazine. She also ranked Cardenal Mendoza Brandy and Cardenal Mendoza Carta Real Brandy both an 86 yet Cardenal Mendoza Carta Real is the higher end of the 2.
I was a little surprised at the 84 ranking as well. You get at least an 80 here for just showing up. But, I guess variations come in from different tastes and preferences. Or at least that's what I tell myself...
