This is quite good, but as is often the case, I am wishing for a bit less sherry influence. It's big. It reminds me of an Edradour bottling I have (single barrel, cask strength, unfiltered, 8 year), but it doesn't have the earthy depth of the peat. That said, I do like this, and I will be taking my time to know it more deeply. It should be noted, the nose is very full and round, with a nice tart spike like dried apricots. It's very pleasant.
