The bottle, first of all, provides a beautiful initial presentation. It's yellowed label looks like it was pulled from the 18th century. On first sip there is sweetness on the tip of your tongue. It opens up and you experience warm plum. In the back of the mouth the tobacco flavors and the tastes of this full bodied whisky develops. The pleasant brine and peatyness snap at the finish.
