Smoked ever so slightly to the nose with hints of caramel, this is a good whiskey. And while its aroma under performs, the palate does quite the opposite and is complex, with leather and spice really coming through with the oak. The finish itself is prolonged, giving us a whiskey that behaves in crescendo to the enjoyment of the drinker.
