Strong nose grabs your attention with a medium peat smoke plus baking spices, white pepper and a hint of banana. Taste is finely balanced between sweet and smoke without being too light, pleasantly finishing with spiced nuts, cinnamon, red licorice. Enjoyably balanced and complex, might be a 5-star bottle if it holds up in the future. Very happy with this at $56, would buy again.

@Pranay: No good deed goes unpunished.
I actually gave this one to a friend of mine last Christmas. I was shocked to see him take a few ounces of this, put it in a beer mug, add diet coke, and drink. To each his own I guess...
Good review, malt mate! I found it intriguing how complex this Single Malt was, for a 10-year-old. Don't rush the experience, this malt needs time... and is so rewarding!
I still get it for $40, at that price it's one of the best values in scotch.
Wow...it's gone up to $56? About 1 1/2 years ago, was just around $30
