Cereal, honey, hazelnut, and malt on the nose. The subtle smoke is nice when you don't want want to be overtaken but have a little peat without being medicinal or oily. Nicely balanced: a little sweet, a little salty, a little nutty, a little smoke. The smoke fades quickly but the sweetness develops on the finish. Opens well as it sits. Would be happy to own a bottle.
