Tastes

Strong apple on the nose. Super smooth and mellow. Bready and sweet like vanilla birthday cake. Long finish with mostly warm honey notes.

Sweet candy on the nose. Sweet, darker brown sugar and peach with richness on the palate. A little bitter on the finish.

Nose: Smells like a bourbon initially, vanilla, toffee and butterscotch candy, a little dried apple. Palate: Warm but not as sweet as it smells. Good heat that dissipates quickly with nice caraway notes. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Balanced and not overly complicated. Would make good cocktails. Finish: Long, slightly bitter, more caraway, rye bread.

Now called Bull Run Bourbon. Smooth, light, and fruity.

Heavy chocolate. Smooth. Would buy a bottle.

Nothing to write home about. Apple nose is nice, palate is pretty hot without water. Add water to mellow, which I preferred.
