The same dark autumn brown you would expect from a 12yr+ barrel strength. Nice nose of dark red fruit, oak and caramel. Taste comes on with more of the same with a hint of citrus underneath. Has a full thick mouthfeel that oily warm. Very nice. Finish doesn't disappoint with a baking spice that's not too heavy but smooths over a long moment.
Much more here to work with than the standard Woodford. I give this one high marks.
