The best scotch I've tried. Fruity on the nose with a hint of a bourbon-esque brown sugar. A bit of a bite is quite inviting with this highland drink. There is less of a profound "bandaid" taste with this. It almost tastes of bourbon, but definitely has the scotch character. A great gateway into scotch
