Sweet smell when you get past the alcohol smell, and definitely super sweet once it’s in a rocks glass with a few cubes. Probably too sweet for me. So far in my hunt for bottom shelf bliss this is a no go. The ranking of cheap stuff for me is EW black, then Ancient Age, followed by EW green
