Tasting Notes
"This bourbon may not be the prettiest belle at the ball, but it’s a committed member of the Buffalo Trace Distillery’s bourbon family and it gets the job done. You can discern some faint flint-like mineral notes behind the peppery spiciness, but other than that, there are no bells or whistles, which is to say: very little complexity. But that might be all that you require when you’re making a simple, easy-drinking cocktail. It delivers floral and honey sweetness on the palate and wraps up with a swift grainy kick. All in a day’s work. "
