I feel as if this is the closest one can get to a Macallan style without donating a kidney for Macallan-esque prices. If a Macallan is for special occasions, this is certainly the everyday high quality dram. Very typical Sherry Highlander: nose of dry fruits and cocoa, tastes of yellow raisins and figs; nice warming finish. This is one I'd like to keep as a regular, especially when friends and family come over. Thanks to Matt for the generous sample!!

I see this for $65 in the Miami area, so it's definitely been marked up a lot now, and actually more expensive than Macallan 12 (which I'm seeing on sale a lot for $60).
That's just highway robbery. I didn't buy one---it's gotta dip at some point, can't stay this high
I was fortunate enough to snag a last bottle for $55. When the liquor store restocked, the priced punched up to $73. What a crazy markup.
In NJ as well---I actually went out this afternoon to get it...$76 for it!!!
Sadly, in my locale, this now pricier than Mac12. It was at one point about $5 cheaper. Now upwards to $70.
Well put, glad you enjoyed.
