Most whiskies are neither terrible nor angelic choir invoking delicious. They're instead somewhere in the middle, and good. But this... This is maybe one of the best things I've ever had in my life. The nose has faint hints of fruit and plenty of toasted barley, like sweet breakfast cereal you can't wait to pour milk into. The body is full and mouth coating with a touch of oak spice. The palate is rich with pear and cinnamon, like a compote. The finish has heat, which can be lowered with water, but it's long and richly satisfying. MINDBLOWN!

Agree. It is stark in its simplicity, it knows what it wants to be and delivers!

Sounds wonderful! I have the Nadurra Peated Cask and I'll be opening it in the coming months. Hope it compares with this one
